[Tourist in my hometown]

Last week, my friend Chris visited from New York. One of the awesome things about having company is that I get to do all of the Seattle things I wouldn’t do otherwise. After the jump probably way too many crappy pictures of Seattle & a few of Portland.

We ran into the pot march…

…went to Ballard for brunch, the farmers market (where we discovered the most amazing thing: rice crispie treats with *Nutella*), Archie McPhee, the Locks, and the fish ladder (that fish is going down the ladder, tail first) …

…caught a Mariner’s game (which was pretty exciting, even though we lost) and got up close & personal with the Moose…

…went on the Underground Tour (which I haven’t been on since I was in junior high), and to the EMP & SciFi Museum (which is free on the first Thursday from 5-8, and that is pretty much the perfect amount of time to spend there)…

…and then on to Portland for roller derby

…and some craziness on the sides of I-5

106.365 gospel signs & Gospodor Monument & uncle sam1

Next week, knitting! Assuming I manage to take pictures during my suddenly crazy-busy weekend. Woo.
