[Hold me up until the sunrise]
I got back from the east coast and was promptly devoured by the film festival. Sorry! I saw 22 movies, and they’re all discussed in these four letterboxed posts.
It ended on the 15th, so let’s see what I did since then after the jump.
Monday night I went to a terrible Mariners game, but I didn’t particularly care because it was free, a beautiful evening, we got to sit on the 100 level, and I had garlic fries and cotton candy.
Also, Safeco is pretty.
Wednesday I won free coffee, which is always awesome.
And Friday I went down to the Market …
…for cherries (Bing & Rainier), cheese curds, a gluten free pumpkin cookie, and a $5 bouquet of flowers.
Saturday I went to ROLLER DERBY. It was the Big Gay Bout, so I got to get the Pride version of the sticker. Which is good, because it was basically the only reason I wanted to go to Pride, and now I don’t have to. Don’t even get me started.
The bout was kind of insane. The first was pick-up teams (the Pegacorns vs the Ligurs) and the second was the travel team vs the B.A.D. Girls. It was the debut, I think, of the new WFTDA rules, which made for craziness. Craziness!
Sunday I started to clean my apartment and found BSG buttons I had bought off of Glarkware before I even watched BSG. Go team me!
And a little more randomness, this morning, sidewalk chalk outside of City Center …
… and the view to the left of my desk. Pirate tattoos! Knitting supply notes! A fortune! And museum badges from my two trips to NYC.
Coming soon, knitting! I finished a pair of socks and a cardigan, and I am pretty close to more socks, plus maybe there’s some in progress stuff. Stay tuned!
