[I’m a crime-citizen-interface consultant]

I’ve been watching some “Blackpool” this week, and I have got to say that is a seriously odd show. I am enjoying the hell out of it, though. I heard that the DVDs have different songs than the BBC version, so I guess I will have to investigate.

I have also been slightly crafty. In increasing order of interest:

1) Melty beads. Probably the most productive thing I did at work yesterday. I need to stick magnets on the back of them and then they can join the other Highly Mature Paraphernalia on my file cabinet in the office. Like the pirate magnets. And the London snowglobe magnet (the precious things of the shop!)

2) Sweatshirt pillow. I am progressing through three of these, but they all still need buttons and one still needs a form. When they’re all finished I’ll put up my tutorial. I know, I know, you can hardly wait.

3) Second (Toe-up) Monkey sock. More info on Ravelry.

I also finished Julie’s Slytherin scarf — except for weaving in ends and adding the fringe — so I needed a new knitting goal. I decided that I am going to aim for finishing Samus in time to wear it when the Yarn Harlot comes to Seattle next month.

Hey, it could happen. Wish me luck!

ahh, pillow forms removes the excitement factor quite a bit.

i have a feeling that you will disagree with the ending of this, but i hope you will enjoy the rest of it.

I particularly want the historically accurate sea shanties! I always sing along in M&C. Because I am a huge dork.
