[Sock Gallery]

I made sock blockers (super simple out of wire hangers) and decided to retake photos of all my socks. Click through to Flickr for larger sizes.

My first socks ever, Spring 2005? Leg down, DPNs, Opal self-striping. Also, this is before I fixed my twisty knitting.

I labeled these as my second socks, but is that really true? I don’t know. Maybe not. They’re leg-down, out of Cherry Tree Hill, and they’re from the sock recipe in The Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns. They fit really well, but I am not generally fond of leg-down.

These are probably my second socks, but they’re toe-up. Opal again.

Some random yarn I bought on clearance in Vancouver:

And yarn my aunt got me for my birthday. (I still have ball-bands at home, so I will stick names in later. If I remember.)
