My first socks ever, Spring 2005? Leg down, DPNs, Opal self-striping. Also, this is before I fixed my twisty knitting.

I labeled these as my second socks, but is that really true? I don’t know. Maybe not. They’re leg-down, out of Cherry Tree Hill, and they’re from the sock recipe in
The Knitter’s Handy Book of Patterns. They fit really well, but I am not generally fond of leg-down.

These are probably my second socks, but they’re toe-up. Opal again.
