When I first heard about it, I thought maybe it was a title like "Snakes on a Plane" and that they ended up calling it "Hot Tub Time Machine" because there was no better or more amusing title out there.

And DUDE. Who doesn't love A League of Their Own?

Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat? Alan Rickman as the Blue Caterpillar? AWESOME.

And they used 3D not just in Underland? Hmmm, that's an odd choice.

That is interesting! I was looking at the numbers for Chicago and New York since they are probably the closest to Toronto ... the order changes slightly but generally includes
Milk
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Rachel Getting Married
Doubt
The Wrestler
Slumdog Millionaire
Twilight

I have seen two of these. (And two of the others are on the Zip list.)

As soon as you cross into New Jersey, though, the numbers are totally different. Interesting.

That audience question sounds great - I usually hate audience questions (and answers too) so how lovely that it was such a good thing!

(I've never seen Rebel Without a Cause.)

"I could summarize THE ENTIRE FILM and still not spoil anything."

Awesome.

Also, "inexplicably tattooed Paul Bettany" is a hilarious thing.

This cracked me up. "I snagged a pass to Youth In Revolt after hearing a rumor that Michael Cera actually bothers to act in it."

I, like Rachel, am also still getting my Google Reader feed under control. Finally.

I enjoy your categories. I especially agree with your "other favorites" list, and the one right above it. I haven't seen A Serious Man yet, but the rest, I loved!

I really can't believe I haven't seen Hurt Locker yet. This week, hopefully!

And I'm scared to see Precious, although I should.

(I am finally catching up on my google reader - nothing like end of the year posts halfway into January!)

I am still bitter that my dad rejected "Young Victoria" for our Christmas Eve movie - for no reason that I could understand, since he loves that sort of movie. Not that I can't see it on my own, but I feel like it would have been a great choice.

Also, I have heard only good things about "Up in the Air" from people I trust, and I am very excited to eventually get around to seeing it. :D
