[Baby stuff!]

We had a baby shower today, which was pretty exciting, partially because I have had my contribution wrapped up in my living room for nearly two months. (The baby herself has been around for nearly three!)

It’s also exciting because it means I can finally show you guys some more of the crafting that I did this summer. What, you want me to blog things chronologically? It’s never going to happen.

After the jump, baby knitted & crocheted things of cuteness.

I knew I was making stuff for a boy & a girl due roughly the same time, so I made highly gendered baby sets. Straight up pink & blue is not usually my thing, but whatever. You do what you gotta do.

First up, One Piece Baby Kimonos (links to Ravelry project pages.). I did one in garter and one in stockinette with a crocheted edge.

Sweet little buttons!

and Modern cabled baby bibs, which are a lot of bang for your buck, as it were. They look much more involved than they really are.

Then I discovered the best thing ever — Lion Brand’s free amigurumi patterns. I made a bunny

…and an octopus

In the end, two darned cute sets, if I do say so myself:
